About Me

I am a freelance computer expert who, while not going to school, enjoys working with computers. I have been employed by such companies as Fargo Public Schools, North Dakota State University, and the Cass County Historical Society, with duties ranging from technology research to everyday IT maintenance. My specialty is education and non-profits, finding unique and money-saving ways to solve problems.

I am familiar with or have had training in the following technologies and techniques:

• Windows, including 95, 98, 2000 (Pro and Server), XP, 2003, Vista, Server 2008 (R2) and 7
• Linux, including Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, and CentOS distributions
• Macintosh, including OS 9, OS X 10.0-10.5
• Apache and MySQL-based web applications, such as Joomla! and Wordpress
• HTML and CSS
• Computer hardware and systems building
• VMWare Virtualization technology, including ESXi, Server, Workstation, and Player products
